| Be a Speaker for the ERDA Schools Speaker Series: Time Commitment: 1 hour on a Friday to talk to fifth graders at a public elementary school about your job and your career path. Impact: Give 100 fifth graders the opportunity to expand their perception of their own options. "If you can dream it, you can achieve it." Be a part of the scores of professionals who are a part of the ERDA Schools Speaker Series Network. Contact: Bethany Cureton, Speaker Series Coordinator, bethany@erdalliance.org Chaperone an Urban Adventure: Time Commitment: A Sunday. Must participate in a three hour training/screening session conducted by New York Cares. Once trained you can chaperone an urban adventure. Volunteers are welcome to but do not have to participate every month. There is a 2:1 Volunteer to child ratio on trips. Impact: Enjoy a fun activity with other volunteers and develop a relationship with a great young adult between the ages of 10 and 14. Be an inspiration!
